Welcome

My name is Carolyn.

I am an empathic and compassionate pluralistic therapist who creates a welcoming, safe and supportive space where you can be yourself without fear of judgement.

I believe feeling heard is central to meaningful change, so I listen with care, curiosity and understanding ensuring you feel valued and supported.

I work using a pluralistic approach drawing on a range of therapeutic techniques to suit your individual needs and preferences.  This means we work together to decide what feels most helpful for you, with openness and flexibility guiding our ongoing dialogue.

About me:

I am born and bred in Fife from the Dunfermline area and have worked  in various corporate and voluntary roles.  I have a passion for people (and dogs) and believe everyone has a story to tell.  I love listening to people and have a genuine curiosity to learn more.

Qualifications:

I believe my most important qualification is that I am authentic and want to listen.

I have a Degree in Psychology from the Open University and a Masters in Pluralistic Counselling from Abertay University.

My Style:

My work is grounded in deep listening and a collaborative process — we walk the journey together, at your pace. I hold hope for every client I meet and approach each story with care, curiosity, and respect. Whether you’re facing challenges or seeking growth, I’m here to support you with empathy, insight, and a belief in your capacity for healing and change.
